Holiday memories are meant to last forever thus the reason of presenting to you this amazing offer of getting close to your closest relatives – the Mountain Gorillas in Mgahinga national park; Uganda; and exploring wildlife; notably Africa’s big 5 (leopards, elephants, Rhinoceros, buffaloes, and lions) birds, rare tree species, and several Antelope, yet not forgetting the fascinating landscape and weather. Game drives, photography, and culture with Maasai people will be the trip highlight as you visit Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro conservation area.
Day 1: Pickup and city tour
There is something so unique in every city thus the reason for starting your adventure in it. It is the face of the country and tunes your heart to the diverse treasures, flora, and fauna. As soon as your arrival is registered at the desk, meet our expert driver-guide for briefing and a snack, before visiting the reptile village at Entebbe to witness some of the rescued reptiles such as the snakes, tortoise, and chameleons among others.
Thereafter, you will head out for lunch at Ndere cultural center, followed by a visit to the Museum, local markets to purchase the missing items and many more places. Your dinner and a nap bring today to a closure.
Day 2: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will wake up like a king today only to be welcome for a yummy breakfast, before checking out of the lodge for a scenic drive to Mgahinga national park; Home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
The drive lasts for about 7-8 hours, through a very breathtaking route with the vegetations, landscape, and many more open for your eyes to see and admire before an en-route Lunch stop and an eventual entrance to the park late in the evening for dinner and a nap
Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa pygmies
After having a hefty breakfast meal, you will head to the park’s headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing and document registration by the park rangers that starts at 8:30 local time. There is one very interesting gorilla family in the park open for tracking for up to 8 people aged 15 years above with the permits.
Depending on your fitness, tracking speed, and the direction the Apes have taken; expect a 1 to about 6-hour hike through the lush bushes, hills, and slopes, while encountering other primates, sweet melodies covering the Jungle, and excellent tree species. The park ranger gives an allowance of one extra hour to closely watch the Apes, ask questions, and take lifetime photos.
After, you will have a lunch break, followed by an amazing cultural encounter with the Batwa pygmies outside the park. These are believed to be one of the oldest cultures in the world, emanating for the forest as gatherers and wonders, and beholding to their ancient practices. They are among the shortest people in the world and take visitors through thrilling dances, stories, and cave visits.
You will render this day a successful one upon returning to the lodge for dinner and peaceful baby-like sleep.
Day 4: Transfer to Arusha City
This day starts with a tasty cup of coffee, followed by an exit from the lodge for a 7-8hour epic drive to Entebbe airport for a flight transfer to northern Tanzania – Arusha city. Upon arriving at Arusha city, our company representative will meet and brief you about this trip, before taking you to the lodge for the last meal of the day and a nap.
Day 5: Arusha city tour and departure to Tarangire national park
After a peaceful night of rest, you will reward yourself with a yummy cup of coffee, followed 2-3 hours’ rewarding city tour; making turns and twists in the busy streets; visiting the local markets and historical attractions around the city as the guide decides.
Thereafter, you will have Lunch, before hitting the maram and tarmac roads, while admiring the landscape, weather, and lush plantations to Tarangire national park; one of the largest and most rewarding conservation area in Tanzania. The day’s adventure comes to an end with dinner and a nap at the lodge.
Day 6: Morning Game drive and transfer to Serengeti national park
You will have a morning game drive after breakfast, to the different corners of the park; concentrated with giant elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and many more, plus unique bird species such as the ostriches, flamingoes, and kingfisher among others.
This morning game drive will last for about 3-4 hours, before returning to the lodge for lunch, and then an exit to Serengeti national park; a top travel destination in Tanzania, hosting one of the world’s natural phenomenon, the massive dramatic wildebeest migration. You will have a late arrival at the lodge for dinner and a nap
Day 7: Full day exploration of Seronera region
After a satisfying breakfast meal, your entire day will be looking out for the different residents of this vast territory, notably the lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, cheetah, ostriches, flamingoes, Hyenas, warthogs, leopards, and vultures among others; yet not ignoring the breathtaking landscape decorated with very unique tree species. Chances are that you will collide with thousand of wildebeest accompanied by zebras, gazelles, and several antelope species in their annual migration season. Late in the evening, you will have a sunset drive to the lodge for refreshment, followed by dinner and a nap.
Day 8: Morning Masai culture visit and transfer to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, you will have a quality 3-4hour moment with the Maasai warriors; one of the most authentic cultures in the world. You will enjoy a reward village tour to the manyattas; listening to the thought-provoking stories, and experiencing what Africa is made of. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for Lunch, before transferring to the Ngorongoro conservation area; home to Africa’s Big 5. Dinner and a nap close to today’s chapter.
Day 9: Morning game drive and afternoon hike to the crater rim
As the morning arrives, with the mammals, birds, and primates taking to the field, an early morning game drive after breakfast will be the most ideal way of encountering your favorite prey, predator, vulture, or even a bird. The known residence that you have a chance of spotting during the 4-5 hours’ drive include lion, zebras, wildebeest, rhinos, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, vultures, ostriches, and monkeys among others.
You will have a picnic lunch hour break, followed by a top of the crater rim hike; the largest unbroken a caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders you may imagine. The crater rim gives you a chance of watching the different hideout of the primates, and mammals, as well as the captivating landscape.
Day 10: Departure
On this day, you will depart the lodge after breakfast for a drive to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
